Our
principal, Mr. Ho Kong Hin, designed the girls' uniform in 1986. The summer
uniform is a white dress embellished with emerald rims and a jade ribbon.
Mr. Ho chose emerald for embellishment owing to the blood-relation with
St. Joseph”¦s College. Another reason for choosing emerald is related
to our location, Chaiwan, which is also called ”„Emerald Bay”¦. Thus,
using emerald shows a sense of belonging to Chaiwan.
