本校第三十三屆越野賽已於九月三十日成功舉行。是次比賽於鯉魚門渡假村舉辦，場面熱鬧非常。本屆賽事有幸獲校友莊東剛先生出任頒獎嘉賓，莊先生乃本校第二屆畢業生，亦是本港有名的長跑好手。
當日比賽的社際成績：甲組由綠社奪得，乙組由紅社奪得；而丙組則由黃社奪得，黃社亦同時奪得啦啦隊最佳表現獎。
個人項目方面，甲組冠軍徐志堅(6B)、亞軍徐志文(7A)、季軍張勉綱(5C)。乙組冠軍葉啟鋒(4B)、亞軍歐文傑(4A)、季軍謝曉路(2A)。丙組冠軍謝朗軒(2D)、亞軍劉臻良(2B)、季軍許俊文(2B)。
Thanks to the weather, the annual Cross-country Race of Chong Gene Hang College went off smoothly on 30th September, 2008 at LeiYueMunCountryPark, Chaiwan.
The quiet and peaceful soccer field of LeiYueMunPark was gradually transformed into a crowded and colourful area. The red, yellow, blue, white and green flags were waving in the air, representing each house’s power and strength. Almost the whole area was filled with students wearing their colours. In the middle of the field, the school flag of ChongGeneHangCollege was flying majestically in the sky, showing the spirit of the school to everyone assembled there.
The event covered three major contests: grades A, B and C. When the gun went off, the atmosphere changed. The sound of wind was no longer heard; instead, there came the roaring of each house from every corner of the field. The roaring stopped when all the runners had gone up the hill; however, it started again when they finally came to the finishing line. The cheering teams of each house all shouted, yelled and even beat their drums. The spirit of comradeship emerged under the flag of ChongGeneHangCollege.
